Pontlands Park Hotel - Chelmsford

Pontlands Park is located in countryside just 15 minutes’ drive from the M25 and 30 minutes from Stansted Airport. Built in 1879 the hotel features Victorian architecture and relaxed splendour.

The hotel is situated to the south of Chelmsford. Chelmsford train station is close by and trains can reach London Liverpool Street in 35 minutes. The family-run hotel provides homely comfort and exceptional service and has been sympathetically extended to offer 35 luxurious bedrooms.

There is a fine restaurant and comprehensive conference facilities. You can also enjoy the facilities at the neighbouring leisure centre. Pontlands is the perfect venue for weddings.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Children can only access the hotels leisure facilities at specific times. Please check with the hotel on arrival.

Guests are required to provide a valid debit or credit card pre-authorisation upon arrival at the hotel.

Please note that maintenance work of the Reflections Leisure Centre will be carried out from March 23, 2026, to March 28, 2026.

Executive Double Room. Bedrooms have one queen bed and en-suite facilities featuring a shower over the bath. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, free WiFi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms cannot accommodate an extra bed or cot. ;
Executive Twin Room. Bedrooms have two single beds and a shower over a bath. Some rooms can interconnect when booked with the Executive Double room, subject to availability. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, free WiFi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 guests using pull out beds, for a surcharge. ;
Deluxe Double Room. These rooms have a queen-size bed and contain en-suite facilities, with a bath and shower cubicle. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, free WiFi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 guests using one additional sofa bed, for a surcharge. Please note, the sofa bed is not recommended for 2 adults. ;
Superior Double Room. The bedrooms have a queen-size bed and contain en-suite facilities featuring a bath and shower cubicle. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, free WiFi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms can accommodate an additional 2 guests using pull out beds, for a surcharge. Please use the Special Requests section to indicate children’s ages and bedcot requirements. ;
Suite internal. The living area is 15m² and the bedroom contains a queen-size bed. As these rooms are internal they do not have windows but the living area has a large skylight. There are en-suite facilities containing a bath and shower cubicle in the suite. Additional amenities include air-conditioning, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, free WiFi, and a TV in the lounge and bedroom, and tea and coffee making facilities. Classic Double Room. This room has a queen-size bed, free WiFi, in-room safe, ironing facilities, hairdryer and teacoffee making facilities. The bathroom feature a shower over bath. ;
Luxury Double Room. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and en-suite facilities, which include a bath and shower cubicle. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, free WiFi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Double Room with Four Poster Bed. Bedrooms have a four-poster queen-size bed with en-suite facilities containing a bath and shower cubicle.
