Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel - Thorpeness

Situated on the sunny Suffolk Heritage Coast, Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel offers modern rooms with picturesque views. It has a unique location next to the famous Thorpeness Meare, and is only 5 minutes’ walk from the beach.

All of the spacious rooms feature a private in-room bathroom, a TV, and tea, coffee, and biscuits. Some rooms also offer sofas, French windows, or a patio area with table and chairs. Many also have views of the golf course or gardens.

Fresh, Suffolk breakfasts are served in the restaurant overlooking the golf course. Traditional and modern dishes are available, and guests can dine on the terrace or in the gardens during summer.

Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel includes 2 bars serving light meals and a selection of drinks throughout the day. A range of award-winning beers and wines are available.

The surrounding area is famous for its music, poetry and literary festivals. Guests can enjoy the nearby coastal trails for walking and cycling, as well as boating on the lake, or golfing on the 18-hole course. Tennis at Thorpeness Country Club is available for free most of the year.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.

For bed and breakfast guests golf is subject to availability, charged at the current green fee rate.

A Handicap certificate issued by the guests own golf club is required to play.

Only continental breakfast will be available between 3rd and 15th January 2022.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note thatSpecial Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
